About ChinaCustomParts

We write buyer-side research for people sourcing architectural hardware, fasteners, and custom parts from China — without the marketing spin.

Why we exist

Supplier websites are good at showing what buyers want to see — clean workshops, glowing certifications, attractive prices. They are less good at explaining what actually determines quality, compliance, and total cost. ChinaCustomParts closes that gap with neutral, verification-first guides written from the buyer's seat.

What we are — and are not

We are an independent information resource. We do not sell parts, broker orders, collect commissions, or charge suppliers for placement. We are not a factory and not a marketplace, and we do not recommend specific factories or trading companies in our editorial content.

Readers who need sourcing help can use our quote form; the guidance we give there is the same neutral, non-commissioned kind.

How we handle facts

  • Anything that references standards (such as ASTM, CE, or UL), duties, tariffs, factories, or prices is treated as a fact claim — and fact claims must be verified against primary sources and dated.
  • Until that verification is complete, the relevant page is marked as a guide in progress and excluded from search indexing.
  • If we cannot verify something, we do not publish it. You will see the note "verified content coming soon" wherever details are still being researched.

Who this is for

Buyers, engineers, and importers — from one-person projects to established purchasing teams — who want to source hardware or custom parts from China with clear specifications and realistic expectations. Our focus areas are architectural hardware and fasteners, custom CNC and sheet metal parts, and the certification and compliance context around them.

Limits of our role. ChinaCustomParts provides information, not legal, customs, or compliance advice. Confirm all requirements with qualified professionals before you commit to a specification, contract, or purchase order.
